Questions & Answers
Q: Extensive repairs were done in 1967, is there any knowledge as to why all the damage? Additionally there are no log entries from 1974-1986. Is there a log missing, or did the airplane just sit somewhere? posted by: mwombles 2/15/2024 1:23 PM CT
A: The current owner has not owned it for long. The FAA records are only present from 1982 forward so no data is available for those dates. It has been well cared for and well documented since then, about 40 years.
Q: When was the aircraft recovered? Is the paint poly-tone or something else? Was it the water based paint and glue? posted by: PA12.5 2/12/2024 2:22 PM CT
A: 1994 page 3 of aircraft log 2
Q: Can you post useful load? posted by: Buhwana 1/20/2024 2:56 PM CT
A: It is 367 lbs. but is eligible for a 50 lb. increase which is listed in the Type Certificate A-759 for the 7FC which is what would need to be followed.
